Me & My El Camino
I got my 1971 Chevrolet El Camino Super Sport last year around October, and since then my life has changed dramatically. The El Camino has indeed touched every facet of my being; it has revitalized me...and made me whole. When I look back from which I came, I see no footprints in the sand...only tire tracks. And the El Camino said, "That, my precious Gearjammer, is when I carried you."

So the sucky part is wintertime. I don't get much cruzin' in, so I decided to chase away those winter blues in a most frivolous fashion. Thus, GEARJAMMER.com was born. Most, if not all, of the other El Camino sites on the web are crap, (see links page) so I thought the Internet deserved an El Camino fan site that's as bitchin' as the automobile itself. I think you'll agree.

The specs on my pretty, pretty pony are as follows:

  • 350 cubic inch engine with dual exhaust
  • Holly 4-barrel carbs
  • Custom wheels with fat tires
  • Bumpin' stereo
  • Ghetto-style Maaco $150 paint job
  • Hauls ass
  • Chicks dig it

  • That's all I can think of right now. Anyway, enjoy the site. I also do light plumbing work if anyone's interested. Contact Gearjammer.
